As all of our bodies are different, yoga is different for every body. We invite you to let go of the idea of what a yoga pose is ‘supposed to look like’ and start directing your attention towards how your body in your pose should feel like.
Learn to grow and connect mindfully with yourself and trust the deep, instinctive knowledge of your own body as you explore the subtle path of embodied movement and deepen your yoga practice. Together, we will explore mind-body awareness while applying a functional approach to yoga and meditative movement as you find your own unique expression within your yoga practice.

Yoga sequences are practiced with a focus on functional movement rather than ‘perfect’ form. Your asana ideally should be felt in the body without heavy concern on the aesthetic application of your yoga shape – the quality of your asana is really in how you show up for it, not how it looks. Our bodies are all different, just as our skeletal variations are unique to us. This is why we all look and move differently on (and off) the mat.

Throughout the class we will move and stretch, stimulating our nervous system and energetic flow as we’re guided through our yoga journey and shown how to ‘tune-in’ and connect with the body mindfully.
